When you focus on what you are grateful for, you attract good into your life. It’s not happiness that makes us grateful, its gratefulness that makes us happy. Expressing gratitude changes our experience of living as we focus on the positive, on what we do have as opposed to what we don’t have. Gratitude will change the perception of yourself and the world you live in. When you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.
Practicing gratitude authentically is not a concept but a way of life. When we truly feel and express the sentiment of gratitude every inch of our being radiates in thanks for the divine nature and flow of the universe which is always supporting us and bestowing gifts upon us.
The more we notice these gifts in our daily lives the more they appear, our conscious awareness of them multiplies their presence allowing an ever incessant flow of abundance into our lives.
Waking up daily and before anything else saying thank you for another day in this magnificent universe, another opportunity to go forth and create and serve is a powerful way to start your day. In honour of this practice which is in its own way an affirmation of the abundance already in our lives I decided to create a symbolic, permanent and tactile reminder in the form of a delicate bracelet.
The gratitude collection is a collaboration between myself and my partner designer Julia Cameron. It was created to remind people to practice gratitude every day. The more people practice gratitude, the happier the world will be and the more grateful we are for what we have, the more we give to others. Our mission is to spread love and gratitude. As part of our mission we are contributing 10% of all profits to charitable causes including Centrepoint, a charity for homeless teenagers in London.
The concept for the bracelet was created when I wrote a ‘G’ on my hand to remind myself to stay centered in gratitude throughout my day. Having posted this image online I quickly had responses from others who had done the same, posting images of G’s and commenting that practicing gratitude had changed their outlook on life.
We aim to reach 1 million people and as a result spread gratitude, love and happiness! Appreciating the good you have in your life is the foundation for all abundance!
