Who Are You Going To Be Today?

man choosing his pathEvery day we wake up with this choice, and if you’re looking to transform any area of your life, you must be willing to participate in your own transformation.

You can either have excuses or results, but you can’t have both.

Are you going to settle for less than what you deserve and play the victim role in life or are you going to step up and become the person you want to be, step up and be the leader that you wish you were.

Every day you wake up with this choice. It doesn’t matter how bad your life is going you always have this choice. You can wake up and ask yourself, “Why is this happening to me?” and, “Why is life working against me?” or you can get up and say, “I am happy and grateful for everything that is happening in my life and life is working FOR me, every day in every way.”

Choosing the latter will give you a much better quality of life.

Remember this… There is always someone in the world who is worse off than you. No matter how bad your day, week or life is going I can guarantee you that there are many people who are a lot worse off than you are right now.

On the other hand, if you start each day choosing to focus on what’s going wrong in your life, what you will find is more of what’s going wrong. If you focus on the negative things you will only attract more negative things, but if you focus on what’s right you will find the energy, vitality and focus to continue your journey, trust that it is all going to work out for you and keep striving and pushing forward towards your goals.

Some days I have moments where I feel stressed, overwhelmed or anxious due to a current personal or business challenge that I’m going through. But I know that if I continue to stay in that space it’s not actually going to serve or benefit me in any way whatsoever.

Instead, using what I know works, at the start of a new day I go through my morning rituals including focusing on gratitude, exercising, meditating, breathing fresh air and eating a healthy breakfast, putting myself in a peak state.

These rituals take me from feeling disempower to empowered, immediately!

You cannot expect everything to go smoothly in life. Where’s the fun in that? Life would be incredibly boring if this was the case. Life is like a roller coaster, get used to it. Expect both the ups and downs and embrace both of them. It’s the challenges in life that help us grow. This is true for physical, emotional and spiritual goals.

Don’t allow yourself to get stressed out by negativity. If I had let negativity control my life up until now I’d certainly be dead today. This I know for sure. Pain, physical or emotional, is temporary.

It might last for a day, a month, or a year but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.

Triumph through adversity.

Wake up and choose to focus your energy on what actually serves you. Focusing on the money, job or body you don’t have is not going to give you the wealth, career or health you desire. Instead, focus on health, prosperity, wealth, opportunity and gratitude.

If you focus on things in your life that you can be grateful for, every experience you’ve had, every person who has come into your life and every challenge that you have overcome, the quality of your life will elevate to a new level.

Gratitude is the easiest way to health and happiness.

Wake up every day, put your body and mind in a peak state by moving it and giving it oxygen and then focus on gratitude going into your day.

As you think, so it will be.

When you change your inside world, you’ll change your outside world.
